// About

Building across the full stack.

I'm a Computer Science student at DePaul University (Software Development concentration), graduating June 2027, and a Software Development Engineer Intern at Fynite AI. I build AI-powered workflow automation across the stack: TypeScript and React on the front, Node.js, REST APIs, and AWS Lambda on the back, with PostgreSQL behind it. I care about writing reliable code and shipping features that hold up in production.

Software Development Engineer Intern

Full-stack · Backend · Cloud · APIs

  • Develop and optimize AI-powered workflow automation features using TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, React, and REST APIs, supporting integrations across 50+ enterprise systems and improving operational efficiency for internal workflows.
  • Built scalable backend services and serverless functions on AWS (Lambda) for real-time data processing and AI-driven decision workflows, contributing to systems handling thousands of automated executions weekly.
  • Supported data pipeline and integration workflows by writing and optimizing SQL queries against PostgreSQL for real-time processing, validation, and reporting of operational datasets.
  • Designed and ran Postman test suites and unit tests against backend APIs to validate behavior and catch regressions ahead of CI/CD releases; reproduced, debugged, and verified features end-to-end in the platform's test environment.
  • Collaborated in an Agile/Scrum environment, tracking work through Jira and participating in sprint ceremonies and code reviews to ship production-ready features, improving system reliability and API response performance.

// Projects

Don't read about them.
Try them.

Each project below has a client-side interactive simulation built into this page, so you can see how the system behaves, not just read about it.

Task Queue System

A task queue built on Node.js, PostgreSQL, and Redis, using scalable architecture patterns common in cloud-native systems. Worker-based architecture with retry mechanisms and dead-letter queues for fault-tolerant, resilient asynchronous job processing. Concurrent execution across workers cut processing time by ~30% under simulated load.

AI GitHub Repository Explainer

An AI-powered tool using the OpenAI API that analyzes 50+ GitHub repositories and generates structured summaries. Backend services handle API integration and optimized response handling, cutting analysis time by ~40% and minimizing manual code-review effort by extracting architecture, tech stack, and features automatically.

Real-Time Collaborative Whiteboard

A real-time collaborative whiteboard on Node.js and Socket.io, using an event-driven architecture common in scalable real-time communication systems. Low-latency live synchronization under 100ms, undo, and board-history replay, designed to handle 50+ real-time events per second across multiple clients while keeping data consistent.

Extra systems I've prototyped.

Side builds beyond my resume, kept here because the interactive demos show how the patterns work.

Order Processing Microservices

A prototype of three event-driven microservices (Order, Inventory, Payment) communicating asynchronously through a message queue, with idempotency keys, retries with exponential backoff, and a dead-letter queue so no order is lost or duplicated.

Waypoint, Full-Stack SaaS Prototype

A prototype multi-tier web application for international students: Next.js frontend, NestJS REST API, PostgreSQL, Redis cache, and object storage, with a GenAI assistant and document extraction that reads an I-20 and pre-fills a profile. Not a live product.
